Dear Valued Customer,
We are pleased to announce you that our New Internet Banking Platform is up, ready and LIVE!
In line with our approach towards innovation and commitment in ensuring convenience for our different stakeholders, we embarked on a journey to revamp our ABC Banking Internet Banking platform. One among the new enhanced security features provided is the request for OTP (One Time Password) for various transactions.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Internet Banking is a safe and secure platform that gives you access you to your bank account/s at your convenience, any time and any where. Transfer funds, view your transation history, and make payments all in the comfort of your home or from anywhere. You no longer need to queue up.
For the best internet banking experience, we recommend using the following browsers: Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge. Make sure you have the latest versions installed.
- First step should be the link for the registration page
- Click on the self-registration button
- Select ID type either National ID or passport
- Enter NIC/password number
- Enter Account number (you can use any of the accounts that you have at the bank, except for a joint-account)
- Enter Email address and ID
- Click on Submit
- You will receive an OTP
- Input OTP
- You will receive your temporary username and password by email and SMS
- Use temporary username and password to access the system
- Start Setup
- Set your own username, password and security questions
- Add widgets to your dashboard
- Select your favourites
- Your Internet Banking platform is ready!

To improve your banking experience, we have introduced several new features. Here’s what to expect:

Available services
- View Account Details: check your balances and transactions.
- Transfer funds: easily schedule transactions or send money across
- Manage Beneficiary: whether it is an ad-hoc or recurring transaction, easily manage beneficiary details. You can even add a photo.
The One Time Password (OTP) is a one-time validation code sent by text message on your mobile phone and/or email to validate transactions on Internet Banking. It will also be requested during registration, for username retrieval, password reset and change in settings among others.
To get started, these details are required:
- CIF
- Account number
- Date of birth
- Full name details
- Email address
Please contact your Relationship Manager
- Go to menu > Accounts > current and saving accounts > Transactions Query
- Choose the view option and select the period of transaction.
- Then click on download and select download format (PDF, CSV, QIF, OFX)
- Go to Menu and select Payments > Beneficiary
- Choose between Account beneficiaries or Office cheque beneficiaries.
- Fill up the Beneficiary form details (name, account details and account name, nickname)
- Click on Submit details
- Go to Menu and select Payments > Select Manage Beneficiary
- Select beneficiary and click on edit
- Update beneficiary details and submit

Security Support
– Password should mandatorily contain both digits and letters and minimum 1 special character
– The Password should contain a minimum of 8 characters
– Your new password cannot be the same as any of your previous password
This is a security feature inbuilt during registration process. At the time of registering, 3 questions of your choice must be set with replies. These answers will be known only to you and will be used for verification from time to time.
To change your security questions, follow below steps:
- Go to your Settings
- Click the Security tab above your name
- Click Update under “Security questions.”
- From the “Security question 1” and “Security question 2” dropdown menus, select a question and type its answer
- Click Save
Incorrect username or password
In case you have forgotten username:
– Click on <can’t login> on the welcome page, followed by <forgot your username>
– Enter requested details
– Reply to the security questions and click on <submit>
– You will receive an OTP via SMS or email. Enter same where requested on the screen
– You will receive your username by email
In case you have forgotten password:
– Click on <can’t login> on the welcome page, followed by <forgot your password>
– Enter your username
– Reply to the security questions and click on <submit>
– You will receive an OTP via SMS or email. Enter same where requested on the screen
– You will then be prompted to enter your new password
Disabled login
In case of 3 incorrect login attempts, the system will block your Internet Banking Login ID/User ID. Contact your Relationship Manager for further assistance.
Browser Issues
The Internet Banking is best accessed using the latest version of the below browsers – Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
It could have been caused due to the following reasons:
– You used the Back / Forward / Refresh button of your browser
– You clicked twice on any options/buttons
– There was no activity in the browser window for a long time
– You logged in from another browser window. You tried to access the Internet Banking page from a saved or static page
- Go to My Setting Menu
- Select the change password
- Enter your Old password and your New password in the designated field after which, confirm your new password (You should make sure that the password fulfil the system requirement)
- The system will lead you to the log in window
- Log in and enter your OTP so that the password change will be effective
- Go to My Setting Menu
- Select change transaction OTP
- Enter OTP and choose either to receive the OTP by Email or SMS or both
- Click on submit
Trusted device – a device you use frequently, such as your personal mobile phone, tablet, or home computer. If you don’t want to enter a one-time code every time you sign in to your services, you can mark your computer or mobile device as trusted. With trusted computers and devices, you don’t need to enter a verification code each time you sign in.
Untrusted device – a device, such as a phone, tablet, or computer that has not been authenticated. You have to enter a one-time code/token every time you log in from such a device.
– Ensure your password is kept secret and change it as often as possible
– Create long password difficult to crack
– Avoid using public WIFI to access your internet banking platform
– Ensure your computer of other devices are equipped with the latest antivirus
– Ensure the website you are visiting is secure:

- If the address bar is visible, the URL should start with ‘https://’ (‘s’ for secured) rather than the usual ‘http://’
- If the address bar is not visible as in our Internet Banking website, look for a lock icon on the browser’s status bar
– Never respond to emails that request personal information
